The Ladies championship trials on 20/21st June at Syde and Birdlip quarry just a reminder that the entries close on Sat June 6th so hurry up and get entries in you can also enter online via the ACU Site

All online payments made for the Andy Bubb trial on the 17th May have been refunded.,and all cheques have been shredded

It has come to the attention of the Committee, that members and or acquaintances have been flying Quad Copters/Helicopters for filming purposes at the quarry.

Could members please take note that THIS activity is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AND, THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS, this is also applicable to any other type of remote control aircraft/vehicle.

The rules and regulations set out by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) are unworkable in relation to the current activities at Birdlip Quarry.

At the Western Centre board meeting on monday Kath, our secratary/treasurer, has been voted the winner of the annual Dick Wyatt award for contribution to organising work in the centre, a well deserved award for years of work.
